ALTRIZ-M is the mixture of two formulations; Levocetirizine and Montelukast Tablets which are used for curing allergic reactions. It cures allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy skin caused by allergies and hay fever.

Levocetirizine is used to treat hay fever, seasonal allergies, and allergies to other things such as dust mites, animal dander, and mould. It relieves runny nose, sneezing, redness, itching, and tears of the eyes. It is also used to treat hive symptoms such as itching and redness. It is an antihistamine that acts by inhibiting the effects of histamine, a chemical generated by the body. Itching, sneezing, a runny nose, and watery eyes can all be caused by histamine.

Montelukast is also used in adults and children 6 years of age and older to avoid bronchospasm during exercise. Montelukast acts by inhibiting the function of a chemical messenger called leukotriene. This lowers inflammation in the airways, hence preventing asthma and alleviating allergy symptoms.
